World Rifts
From the Polandball Go Wiki
World Rifts are raids for four to eight players. They open every weekend, from Saturday at 00:00 UTC to Monday at 02:00 UTC. The first weekend starts on October 31, 2026. You need to be level 20 or higher to join.
1 When they open#
- Opens: Saturday, 00:00 UTC.
- Closes: Monday, 02:00 UTC.
- First weekend: October 31 to November 2, 2026.
World Rifts show up on the map as their own spawns while the weekend is on. Walk up to one to open its lobby, or join any open lobby from the World Rift tab of the Raid Kiosk.
2 The two tiers#
- World Rift ★: 6 floors. You need 35 Polbies. Unlocked by clearing a 2★ Rift with other players.
- World Rift ★★: 7 floors. You need 45 Polbies. Unlocked by clearing a 3★ Rift with other players.
You pick 5 Polbies on each floor, and a Polbie that has fought is done for the rest of the run. See Raid levels for the ★ levels of a normal Rift.
3 Entry#
- One free entry every weekend.
- After that, each World Rift costs a World Rift Pass (bought with Gold), or a Rift pass plus Mymic Souls.
- Mymic Souls come from fully clearing regular team Rifts. Harder Rifts give more.
- Your entry is only used when you collect your rewards at the end. Leaving early costs nothing.
4 Seats, duos and squads#
A lobby has 8 seats:
- Duo A: seats 1 and 2. Duo B: seats 3 and 4. Together they are Squad 1.
- Duo C: seats 5 and 6. Duo D: seats 7 and 8. Together they are Squad 2.
The leader can start once 4 players are in, with at least one player in each squad. A player alone in a duo teams up with the other duo in their squad.
5 The three phases#
- Duos (floors 1 and 2): each duo fights its own Mymics.
- Squads (floors 3 and 4): Duos A and B fight as Squad 1, C and D as Squad 2.
- Coalition (floor 5 to the end): all eight fight the same Mymics. The last floor is a Riftbreaker.
If a duo or squad runs out of Polbies or time, the Mymics it didn't finish escape to the next floor with the HP they had left. The Rift is only lost when every team on a floor fails.
6 Reinforcements#
Once your duo or squad clears its floor, you can send one unused Polbie to help a team that's still fighting. It makes one Basic attack with its own CP, Type and Equipment. One per floor, and that Polbie is used up for the rest of the run.
7 Spoils#
Clearing a phase earns your team Spoils, bonuses that last for the rest of the Rift. Duos vote at the start of floor 3 and squads at the start of floor 5. A cleaner clear deals more cards to vote on. Spoils add up as teams merge: a squad holds every Spoil its duos claimed, and the coalition holds all of them.
Spoils come in three rarities (Common, Uncommon, Rare), and each is Military, Economy or Diplomacy. Some of them:
- Final Push (Common): more damage against a Mymic below half HP.
- War Chest (Uncommon): +1 Ultimate for everyone for the rest of the Rift.
- Field Hospital (Uncommon): once per floor, running out of Polbies brings one back.
- Big Red Button (Rare): your squad's first Ultimate each floor deals triple damage.
- Conscription (Rare): 6 Polbies per floor instead of 5.
8 The Gambit#
Before the final floor the whole team votes on two Gambits or Skip. A Gambit lasts only for the final fight. The majority wins; a tie goes to Skip.
- Double or Nothing: a win boosts Prestige Fragments, Echo Coins and boss loot; a loss gives no Fragments or Echo Coins.
- Scorched Sky: the boss starts hurt, but all Spoils switch off.
- Glass Boss: Super Effective hits land much harder, everything else softer.
- Truce Broken: the boss loses its tricks but has much more HP.
- Total Mobilisation: 7 Polbies each, but no Multi or Ultimate attacks.
9 Heralds and Riftbreakers#
Heralds guard the special floors in the middle and late part of the run. Riftbreakers wait on the final floor. Each has its own rule, shown on its Status Effect chips, and each floor draws one of several encounters.
- World Rift ★ ends on Veznie, The Timekeeper or The Emperor.
- World Rift ★★ ends on Calamivire.
Heralds include The Ferryman, Cloverion, Cap'n Grim and, in World Rift ★★, Crypsatia.
10 Rewards#
You're paid for the floors your team cleared and the Mymics it defeated. Reinforcements count for the team they helped, and on coalition floors everyone shares.
- Echo Coins for every floor cleared.
- Prestige Fragments, with the best at the end of a full clear.
- A big Clay bonus for beating the final boss, plus the usual XP, Clay and Influence per floor.
- Equipment: every Herald and Riftbreaker drops its own, from Epic to Mythical. Veznie drops the Hourglass Staff, The Emperor drops the Emperor's Staff, and Calamivire drops the Void Blade. Some Riftbreaker Equipment has its own Weapon Attack in duels.
Your first few full clears each day pay the most.
11 Echoes#
Once a Polbie reaches Prestige V, you can awaken its Echo: a second Type it can attack with. In Rifts you choose which Type to hit with; in PvP, Auto picks the better one. Awakening an Echo takes Echo Coins and Polbie Cores. Polbie Cores come from scrapping Polbies.
