Mymic ranks: Regulars, Elites and Bosses
From the Polandball Go Wiki
Each Mymic has one of three ranks: Regular, Elite or Boss. The rank tells you roughly where a Mymic stands in a raid. Regulars fill the early floors, Elites guard the middle and upper floors, and a Boss ends the raid.
1 Regulars#
Regulars are the rank-and-file Mymics. At the low end they are tiny: Shermie has 5,000 HP, Cobalt Revenant 3,000 and Zgierzanin 3,000. The ones on a 3★ raid's floor 3 are much bigger, with Ken at 250,000 HP and Loji at 280,000.
Most Regulars have no traits at all. They are there to be cleared with your weaker balls so the strong ones stay fresh. A few carry one:
- Frazzle has Moss Republic, "When an allied Frazzle is defeated, gain 1 stack."
- Tomcute has Ebb, "Next hit deals 75% less damage, then switches to Flow."
- Chistripe has Commoner, "Takes double damage from "Common" and "Uncommon" Balls."
- Zekri has Scout, "Resists all attacks. On hit: remove a stack of Scout."
- SCA has Chair Enjoyer, which reads only "SCA likes chairs."
Regulars still drop items. Frazzle alone drops Battle Shield, Iron Sword and Mossclump.
2 Elites#
Elites sit between the two. On a 1★ raid they mostly guard floors 3 and 5, and on a 3★ raid floors 2, 4 and 5, though some Elites also stand beside the boss on floor 6. They range from Almaz and Siraj, at 30,000 HP each, to Unit DX at 1,000,000.
Nearly every Elite has a trait, and many of them change how you have to attack:
- Almaz and Siraj have Shield, "Blocks the next attacks."
- Cherisia and Fire Fox have Taunt, "All attacks are redirected to me."
- Sleepy Rat and Scandiland have Slumber, "On hit: Remove 1 stack. At last stack, heals for 50% max HP."
- Desert Fox has Retaliate, "When the same ally gets targeted twice in a row, randomly Exhausts 1 ball."
- Seven Boxes has Adaptable, "I become the type of the next attack".
3 Bosses#
Bosses end a raid. Each belongs to a raid level and sits on the last floor: floor 6 in an ordinary raid, floor 4 in a Tutor raid. They range from the Tutors, at 24,000 or 26,000 HP, to Nergal, The Conqueror at 8,000,000.
Bosses drop many of the best items in the game. Close to half the ✦✦✦✦ items come from 3★ bosses, such as Arachnid Claws from Luna and Blade of Eternal Radiance from Frogi. See Raid levels for the boss list at each level.
4 Elites are not bosses#
The game's own data gets some ranks wrong, especially since update 5.0, which listed several of the new Mymics as Bosses. These are the correct ranks:
- Acee and Backfox, the floor-3 guards of a Tutor raid, are Elites.
- Tomcute and Chistripe, the other two floor-3 guards, are Regulars. They come with unlockable frames, but that doesn't make them bosses.
- The Elite N-Balls, such as Elite 2-Ball, Elite 3-Ball and Elite 7-Ball, are Elites.
- Primal Almaz and Primal Siraj are Elites.
- The five Tutors are Bosses, and they are the only new bosses that 5.0 added.
Since 5.0, some fights against Elites have been recorded at a "4★" level. There are no 4★ raids, and those fights aren't boss runs.
5 Familiar faces, stronger forms#
Several Mymics come back later as a tougher version of themselves, often at a higher rank or level:
- Almaz and Siraj are level-1 Elites with 30,000 HP and Shield. Primal Almaz and Primal Siraj have 100,000 HP each and trade Shield for Corruption. Primal Almaz adds Thaw, and Primal Siraj adds Supernova, "If I fall below 25% health without being defeated, you lose."
- Tomcute is a 20,000 HP Regular on a Tutor raid's floor 3. Tomcute Advanced is a level-4 Regular on a 3★ raid's floor 3.
- Iris is a level-2 Elite with Reinforcement, "When hit 5 times, spawns a new Mob." Iris Unbound is a level-5 Elite with 450,000 HP, whose Advanced Reinforcement "Spawns Elite Mymics with Hollow."
- Frazzle is a 6,000 HP Regular. Mosscaller Frazzle is a level-4 Elite with 400,000 HP, and when it falls its Mossball Last Stand spawns a Mossball Leader.
- The Weird Unit is a level-1 Elite with Unstable. Unit DX, the name the game's lore gives The Weird Unit after an incident, is a level-5 Elite with 1,000,000 HP and Extreme Instability, "On attack: Change my type randomly."
- Tapioca is a 2★ boss with 150,000 HP. Tutor Tapioca is the 24,000 HP Tutor version, with the same Oil and Light typing.
6 Summoned Mymics#
Some Mymics only show up because another one brought them in. Heavenly Sultan's Sultan's Rage reads "After you target me with 3 attacks, summon Afgar." Shimpi is summoned by The Shrimp's Valor. The four Vengeful bosses are spawned by Frogi, Mud, Lotzie and Luna. Special bosses covers how each of these fights plays out.

Raids shows the bosses by level, and each Mymic's page lists its rank, types, HP, traits and drops.
