Raid luck and the daily reward limit
From the Polandball Go Wiki
Raid drops are pure chance, given separately to every raider each time a Mymic falls. Nothing in a raid's result carries over to the next one. Drops and drop rates has the chances and how they add up over many kills.
1 One chance per Mymic, per raider#
- Every time a Mymic is defeated, each player in the party gets their own chance at each item that Mymic can drop.
- A Mymic that appears twice on a floor gives a chance for each copy defeated.
- Mymics summoned during the fight count too. Locus's Swarm brings in more Locations, and Mosscaller Frazzle's brings in more Frazzles. Each one defeated is another chance at their drops.
- A normal Tapioca raid has up to three Tapioca kills: the boss and its two Blank Canvas copies. See Summoned and split Mymics.
- Shadow Split copies share one reward between them.
2 The daily reward limit#
The game caps how many raid rewards you get in a day. Past the cap, a cleared raid pays nothing at all: no item, and 0 Clay, 0 XP and 0 Gold.
- No item chance is given on those raids, so an empty reward past the cap isn't bad luck.
- The exact cap isn't published, nor when it resets. Players who raid all day reach it.
- On the raids that do pay, Prestige Fragments come almost every time.
3 Raid level and the chance#
The game's Atlas gives one drop chance per Mymic and item, never one per raid level. The chances seen in raids match the Atlas at every level checked so far, so a 1★ Frazzle and a 3★ Frazzle appear to drop Iron Sword at the same rate. The game hasn't said so outright.
4 Release days and patches#
- No release-day boost. After update 5.0 on October 15, 2026, the new items dropped at the same rate in their first two days as afterward. A burst lasting a few hours can't be ruled out. A boost lasting days can.
- Patches haven't changed drop chances so far. No chance seen before update 5.0 moved after it.
- Exploits do change what people got. The Tapioca exploit let parties defeat Tapioca far more than three times a raid between October 3 and 12, 2026.
5 The Tutor update's items#
The Atlas gives no chance for the items added in update 5.0. Seen in raids, each drops about 2 to 3 times in 100 kills:
- Stylus Pen from Acee: about 2.0%
- Antique Camera from Backfox: about 2.6%
- Pocket Dimension Cube from Backfox: about 2.4%
- Sharp's Mortarboard from Tutor Sharp: about 1.9%
- Leviticus' Circlet from Tutor Leviticus: about 2.4%
- Coelash's Comet Staff from Tutor Coelash: about 2.2%
- Tapioca's Inkspiral from Tutor Tapioca: about 2.9%
- Energy Blade from Tutor Jar: about 2.8%
Tomcute's Bucket is listed as a Tomcute drop, but nobody has been seen getting it. Radiant Cheese from Chistripe on floor 3 of a Tutor raid comes in about 1.7% of raids that meet it. See Tutor raids.
6 Streaks#
Because each chance is separate, long dry spells and quick doubles are both normal. At a 2% chance, about one player in seven goes 100 kills without the item, and about one in seventeen gets it twice or more in their first 20.
7 On polbielytics#
Raid luck on a player's profile compares the items they got from raids with what these chances predict for their own kills. Rarer items count for more. A player 1.5 standard deviations above or below reads Lucky or Unlucky, and 2 reads Very Lucky or Very Unlucky. Clear rewards, crafting materials and raids past the daily limit aren't counted. See Raids.
