Heralds and Riftbreakers

Heralds and Riftbreakers are two new classes of Mymic that guard World Rift floors. Heralds hold special floors in the middle and late part of the run. Riftbreakers hold the final floor.
Each one fights by its own rule, and its Status Effect chips spell that rule out during the fight. Each of these floors draws one of several encounters, so you won't know ahead of time which boss you'll meet.
1 Heralds#
- [The Ferryman](/mymic/212) (World Rift ★ and ★★): board Polbies onto his boat and hit him while it sails. Bring enough CP aboard.
- [Cloverion](/mymic/225) (World Rift ★ and ★★): every attack spins slot reels. Three of one Type is a JACKPOT, with triple damage and more loot.
- [Cap'n Grim](/mymic/241) (World Rift ★★): hides in fog until his crew calls fire. Hold your attacks, then hit together.
- [Crypsatia](/mymic/237) (World Rift ★★): locked until three hidden Types hit her in the right order. Hitting her sidekick, Spectre, helps.
2 Riftbreakers#
- [Veznie, The Timekeeper](/mymic/213) (World Rift ★): mark him in the Future, then load damage in the Past.
- [The Emperor](/mymic/214) (World Rift ★): nothing hurts him while the Senate stands. Strike the Senate first.
- [Calamivire](/mymic/218) (World Rift ★★): plants Seeds on your Polbies. Attack with a Seeded Polbie before its Seed blooms for triple damage. If it blooms first, he heals and that Polbie is Exhausted. See Exhaust and unexhaust.
- [Scarlett Wraith](/mymic/226): a Riftbreaker too. The game hasn't said which World Rift tier it's in or what its rule is.
3 Equipment#
Every Herald and Riftbreaker drops its own Equipment, from Epic to Mythical.
- Veznie drops the Hourglass Staff.
- The Emperor drops the Emperor's Staff.
- Calamivire drops the Void Blade.
Some Riftbreaker Equipment has its own Weapon Attack in duels.
