Currencies, shops and events
From the Polandball Go Wiki
Polandball Go runs on seven currencies. Each comes from a different part of the game and is spent somewhere specific: Clay pulls balls, Influence grows them, Glory comes from PvP, War Bonds from alliance wars, and so on.
1 The currencies#
Clay is the currency for pulling balls. One Recruit costs 1,000 Clay. It comes from daily quests, from deposits on the map and from rewards such as alliance wars, and it also pays for some shop items.
Influence grows your balls and, since patch 5.0, your settlements. It is generated over time, and both your alliance's level and your Capital's tier raise how fast it comes in. Settlement growth is expensive: taking a Capital from Metropolis to Imperial City alone costs 40,000. See Lands, Capitals and sieges and Levels, stars and CP.
Gold is bought with real money. It buys shop items, emotes, extra slots and renames, which cost 200 Gold.
Glory is the PvP currency. You earn it for each PvP win, plus a placement bonus at the Monday rollover, and spend it only in the Glory Shop. See PvP leagues.
War Bonds come only from alliance wars and never expire. They are spent in the War Shop.
Scrap Sand comes from scrapping balls and from bundles. Trades and crafting both cost it, and a trade charges both players the full amount. See Trades and friends.
Aether Dust comes from bundles and rewards. It pays to take an item off a ball and goes into crafting recipes. The game sometimes calls it Aether Essence; it's the same thing.
2 Recruit and banners#
Recruit is the game's gacha. How many banners run at once changes. For most of October 2026 there were three: the featured Trick or Treat banner, Drums of Africa and Polbies Classics. By October 23, as old sets came back as re-runs, there were eight.
Banners aren't fixed lists. Balls can join a banner that is already running: French Colonial Empire and 13 other balls were added to Drums of Africa on October 3, 2026, two weeks after it opened on September 19.
The game keeps no banner history in the app. The only record of the banner a ball first appeared on is the Atlas, the game's own web wiki. See Leaderboards, first owners and the Atlas.
3 The shops#
The Shop has six tabs:
- Daily freebies.
- Gold, for buying Gold.
- Items, mostly elixirs.
- Emotes.
- Upgrades, for more Polbie slots and a bigger item bag.
- Gifts.
The Glory Shop takes Glory and restocks weekly. It sells Prestige Fragments I to IV, orbs, passes and Influence bundles. Prestige Fragments are covered on Prestige.
The War Shop takes War Bonds. Its headline stock is the Glorious Set, four ✦✦✦✦ items with Light resonance that are the strongest items in the game:
- Glorious Mace: 20,000 attack, 0 defense.
- Glorious Shield: 0 attack, 20,000 defense.
- Glorious Spear: 16,000 attack, 4,000 defense.
- Glorious Sword: 10,000 attack, 10,000 defense.
For comparison, Shadowscript Brush, a top-end raid drop, is 8,000 attack and 8,000 defense. The War Shop also sells Aether Dust and Scrap Sand bundles, crafting materials and supplies. See Items, tiers and resonance.
The Alliance Shop sells elemental orbs by type at 135 each, with some on sale, and gets cheaper as the alliance levels up. Alongside it, the Upgrades Shop sells alliance-wide upgrades: member capacity, inventory and an Influence boost. See Alliances.
4 Quests#
- Daily quests, which pay Clay and Influence.
- Level quests.
- Monthly quests, the Polandball Pass, with a Basic track and a Deluxe track.
- Achievements, tiered goals such as "Conquer 10000 Territories".
Alliances have their own weekly alliance quests on top of these, with shared milestones for dungeons, territory, recruiting, Clay and PvP.
5 Events#
The game runs seasonal events with their own passes. Spooky Season runs from October 10 to November 1, 2026, alongside the Trick or Treat banner. The in-app Event Calendar goes back to Ballsmas 2025.
The in-app news keeps only about three weeks of posts, so older announcements disappear from the game. The patch timeline keeps the dates.
6 Inventory space#
Your collection is capped by Polbie slots, which you can expand in the Shop's Upgrades tab. The base inventory doubled from 50 to 100 on September 24, 2026.
7 On polbielytics#
The game's public data doesn't include shop prices, quests, events or banners, so polbielytics doesn't track them. The figures on this page come from the game's own screens. A ball's first banner, where the site shows one, comes from the Atlas.
