Alliances
From the Polandball Go Wiki
An alliance is Polandball Go's player group. Members fight the weekly alliance wars together, share alliance quests, and pool their progress into an alliance level that pays every member back through cheaper shopping and more Influence.
1 Members and roles#
An alliance has three ranks: Leader, Officer and Member. The member list shows each player's Global Power and territory count. How many members an alliance can hold depends on its upgrades; an alliance showing 17 of 19, for example, has room for two more. The capacity is raised in the Upgrades Shop.
2 Alliance level and XP#
Every alliance has a level from 1 to 5 and an Alliance XP bar toward the next. One alliance's bar read 194,290 of 200,000, nearly at the next level.
Wars are one source of Alliance XP: each war pays it by result and ladder tier, on top of the members' own rewards.
The alliance level brings three bonuses:
- a higher Influence cap,
- an Influence boost,
- a discount in the Alliance Shop.
Influence levels up balls and, since patch 5.0, grows settlements, so a higher alliance level speeds up both. See Currencies, shops and events.
3 Muster#
Members who contribute in a week earn +10% Alliance XP the following week.
4 Weekly alliance quests#
Alliances have their own weekly quests with tiered milestones. The tasks mix the game's main modes:
- defeat dungeons,
- capture territory,
- recruit balls,
- collect Clay,
- win PvP battles.
5 Relations#
An alliance can propose a relation with another alliance, either Friendly or Hostile. A proposal shows as Pending until the other side answers.
6 Shops#
Alliances have two shops of their own.
- The Alliance Shop sells elemental orbs, sorted by type, at 135 each, with some on sale. Orbs raise a ball's orb tracks; see type proficiency. The alliance level's discount applies here.
- The Upgrades Shop sells upgrades for the alliance as a whole: member capacity, inventory and an Influence boost.
7 The War Room#
The game has a War Room tab inside each alliance for the weekly war. It is separate from the war room on polbielytics, which is a Premium tool on this site.
8 Wars#
Alliances fight one war a week. Sign-up opens Thursday at 00:00 UTC, the roster lock and matchmaking come at Friday 00:00 UTC, attacks run on Saturday and results are final after Sunday's review. The alliance with more war points wins, and its result moves it on the war ladder. The details are on Alliance wars, War attacks and team duels and War scoring and the war ladder.
9 Territory#
Since patch 5.0 each player has one Land with a Capital, and alliances hold no land of their own. The member list shows each player's territory count, alliance quests reward capturing territory, and the alliance leaderboard can rank by it. See Territories.
10 Leaderboards#
The game ranks alliances two ways:
- by territories held, with a region picker,
- by combined Global Power.
There is also the war ladder, ranked by VP. More on the game's boards is on Leaderboards, first owners and the Atlas.
11 On polbielytics#
Each alliance's page on polbielytics has its war record, and the territory page shows ground gained and lost by alliance, never by player.
The Polbielytics Ranking is this site's own alliance ranking, not the game's. It blends territory, Global Power and PvP. Alliance level is part of the design but is left out for now. The site's war ranking builds on it; see War scoring and the war ladder.
