The War Shop and the Glorious Set

From the Polandball Go Wiki

The War Shop is where alliance wars pay off. It takes War Bonds, the currency that comes only from wars, and its headline stock is the Glorious Set: four ✦✦✦✦ items with the largest numbers of any items in the game.

1 Finding the shop#

The War Shop shares a screen with the Glory Shop, which opens from the Battle screen. The screen has two tabs, Glory and War Bonds, and the War Bonds tab is the War Shop. Its header shows your War Bonds, your Glory and the time until the next restock. The shop restocks weekly, and each item has a limit per restock.

2 War Bonds#

The game's own description of War Bonds is short: every war you fight pays them, a win pays more, an alliance higher on the war ladder earns more, and each season pays a bonus on top. They are spent only in the War Shop, and they never expire, so there is no reason to spend them before you are ready.

Wars also pay Clay and XP to members and alliance XP to the alliance. How much of each a war pays depends on the alliance's ladder tier and the result. See War scoring and the war ladder.

3 The Glorious Set#

The four Glorious items are ✦✦✦✦ with Light resonance. None of them has a bonus effect and none has a type requirement, so any ball can hold one.

Each one costs 7,500 War Bonds and 15,000 Glory, and the shop sells one of each per restock. The whole set comes to 30,000 Bonds and 60,000 Glory. The Glory comes from PvP wins and the weekly placement bonus, so a set takes steady play in both modes.

Choosing a piece

In PvP and war duels an item counts through its numbers alone. Its attack powers the ball's Weapon move, two charges per duel, typed by the item's resonance. Its defense adds to the ball's Protection. See How a duel works.

  • Mace puts everything into the Weapon. It suits an attacker that relies on landing two big hits.
  • Shield puts everything into Protection. It suits a defender meant to absorb attacks in a war squad.
  • Sword splits evenly, and Spear leans to attack with some cover.

For scale, Shadowscript Brush, one of the strongest raid drops, is a ✦✦✦✦ item with 8,000 attack and 8,000 defense. The Sword alone carries more of both.

Because bonus effects never apply in war duels, the Glorious Set loses nothing there, where an effect-heavy raid item gives up part of its value. In raids the opposite applies: the set has numbers and no effect, while many top raid items rely on theirs. The Weapon's Light typing also matters, since the type chart decides how hard it lands on each defender. See Items, tiers and resonance and the type chart by type.

4 Bundles#

The bundles turn War Bonds into the two crafting currencies. These were the prices and limits in the week of October 12, 2026:

  • Aether Bundle: 1,000 Aether Dust for 90 Bonds (5 a week), 5,000 for 400 (2) and 10,000 for 700 (1).
  • Scrap Sand Bundle: 5,000 Scrap Sand for 60 Bonds (5 a week), 25,000 for 250 (2) and 50,000 for 450 (1).

The larger bundles are the better rate. The smallest Aether Bundle works out to about 11 Aether Dust per Bond and the largest to about 14. Scrap Sand goes from about 83 per Bond in the smallest bundle to about 111 in the largest. Buying every bundle in a week costs 3,200 Bonds and returns 25,000 Aether Dust and 125,000 Scrap Sand.

Aether Dust buys recipes and pays to take items off balls. Scrap Sand pays for trades and crafting. See Crafting and materials.

5 Crafting materials#

One section of the shop rotates through crafting materials. On October 12, 2026 it offered:

Moonband and Sunband are the two ingredients of the Eclipse Band recipe, along with 1,800 Scrap Sand and 1,000 Aether Dust. Eclipse Band is a ✦ Cosmic item with 1,000 attack and 1,000 defense. The Chaos Blade Shard's recipe hasn't been recorded. Prices for the later items in each rotation weren't captured.

6 Supplies#

  • Empty Pouch: 500 Bonds and 25,000 Clay, two a week.
  • Friend Pass Fragment: 50 Bonds, five a week. Ten fragments are forged into a Remote Friend Pass at the crafting shop.

7 Planning your Bonds#

A few things follow from the prices:

  • Glory is often the real limit. The Glorious items cost twice as much Glory as Bonds, so a player with Bonds saved still needs a strong PvP week to buy one.
  • Bonds keep. Since they never expire, saving for a Glorious piece costs nothing but time.
  • Bundles are a good outlet for Bonds you won't need for the set, especially the larger ones.

8 On polbielytics#

The War Shop's stock, with the date it was read, appears in a popup beside the war rewards on the site's war pages. Item pages for the Glorious Set name the War Shop as their source.
