Glory and the Glory Shop

From the Polandball Go Wiki

Glory is the PvP currency. You earn it by winning PvP battles and from a weekly placement bonus, and you spend it in one place, the Glory Shop, found under Battle beside the two ranked leagues. The shop restocks once a week, and much of what it sells comes in small weekly stock, so the best lines are worth checking every week.

1 Earning Glory#

The game's own description gives two sources:

  • Each PvP battle you win. A loss pays nothing.
  • A league placement bonus at what the game calls the Monday rollover, based on where you finished the week.

How much Glory a win pays, and how the placement bonus scales with tier, aren't published. The weekly ladder resets on Sunday at 8 PM US Eastern, which is already Monday in UTC, so the "Monday rollover" is most likely that reset. See PvP leagues and PvP tiers and ladder points.

Glory can only be spent in the Glory Shop. Nothing else in the game takes it, except that the War Shop charges Glory on top of War Bonds for its biggest items.

2 What the Glory Shop sells#

These are the prices the shop showed in October 2026. Several lines charge Clay as well as Glory. The stock figures are what was left on one account's screen partway through a week, so a full week's stock may be higher.

Prestige Fragments

  • Prestige Fragment I: 50 Glory. Sold out on that screen.
  • Prestige Fragment II: 150 Glory and 1,000 Clay. 5 left.
  • Prestige Fragment III: 300 Glory and 5,000 Clay. 3 left.
  • Prestige Fragment IV: 1,500 Glory and 10,000 Clay. 3 left.

Prestige Fragments are what take a 6★ ball into prestige ranks, the biggest single CP steps in the game: prestige 1 adds 500 CP, 2 adds 600, 3 adds 800 and 4 adds 1,000. The game describes Fragment I as being for the first prestige tiers of 6★ balls. How many fragments each prestige level takes isn't known. See Prestige.

Orbs

Type orbs at 50 Glory and 500 Clay each. The screen on record offered Energy Orbs and Ice Orbs, with 20 left of each. Orbs upgrade a ball's three Type Proficiency tracks and are always of the ball's own type, so a Cosmic ball needs Cosmic Orbs. The Alliance Shop also sells orbs, for 135 of the alliance's own shop currency. See Type proficiency and orbs.

Dungeon Passes

Premium Remote Dungeon Pass: 500 Glory and 25,000 Clay, with 1 left. The same pass costs 150 Gold in the main Shop, so Glory is a way to get it without spending Gold.

Influence Bundles

  • 5,000 Influence: 50 Glory.
  • 10,000 Influence: 150 Glory.
  • 50,000 Influence: 300 Glory.

The prices aren't proportional. The small bundle gives 100 Influence per Glory, the middle one about 67, and the big one about 167, the best rate of the three. See Influence.

3 The War Bonds tab#

The Glory Shop has a second tab, the War Shop, which takes War Bonds from alliance wars. Some of its lines also cost Glory:

  • Glorious Set: Glorious Mace, Shield, Spear and Sword, each 7,500 War Bonds and 15,000 Glory, one of each at most. They carry the biggest numbers of any items, all ✦✦✦✦ with Light resonance.
  • Chaos Blade Shard: 3,000 War Bonds and 6,000 Glory, a crafting material.

The rest of the War Shop, Aether and Scrap Sand bundles, other crafting materials and supplies, costs no Glory, though the Empty Pouch also charges 25,000 Clay. See Currencies and shops.

4 What a week of Glory buys#

Buying everything that screen still had in stock:

  • Prestige Fragments II to IV: 750 + 900 + 4,500 = 6,150 Glory, plus 50,000 Clay.
  • Twenty orbs of one type: 1,000 Glory and 10,000 Clay.
  • The Remote Dungeon Pass: 500 Glory and 25,000 Clay.

That's 7,650 Glory and 85,000 Clay, before Fragment I, the Influence Bundles (sold out on that screen) and any second type of orb. The Clay is the real limit for most players: a Recruit pull costs 1,000, so that much shopping costs as much Clay as 85 pulls.

5 Spending it well#

  • Prestige Fragments come in small stock, and prestige levels are the biggest CP steps in the game, 500 to 1,000 CP each.
  • The 50,000 Influence Bundle is the cheapest Influence in the shop per Glory.
  • Orbs are best spent on the Attack track of your main hitters and the Multiattack track of the balls that take hits. The Ultimate track only adds Speed in duels.
  • The Glorious Set costs 15,000 Glory a piece, nearly twice the whole list above. It's worth it for an alliance war player chasing the top of the item list, less so for a pure ladder player, since in duels an item's attack stops paying much past 4,000. See Weapon and item power.

6 On polbielytics#

The game's public data doesn't include Glory or shop stock, so the figures here come from the game's own screens. Leaderboards show each player's ladder standing, which is what the placement bonus pays on.
